A native of Oklahoma City, Alexis has pride in her city and a passion for knowing its growth patterns. She graduated from Oklahoma Christian Schools in Edmond and previously attended Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City. She obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance with a specialty focus in Real Estate at the University of Arkansas Walton College of Business. Her studies gave her an in-depth understanding of Real Estate finance, appraisal, commercial property and residential development.
Following graduation, Alexis immediately began working for Bank of Oklahoma in their prestigious Accelerated Career Track program for Commercial Lending, which led her to become a Business Banking Loan Officer. This developed a strong understanding in Oklahoma’s pillar industries of Oil and Gas and Real Estate. She later become a credit analyst at Seventy Seven Energy leading the company’s credit department for risk management relating to suppliers and customers.
Alexis recently became a new mom to her daughter, Isabelle. She is married to Blake Burckart, a Landman with Ascent Resources. Outside of the home, Alexis is a member of Life Church, attends bible study at Crossings Community Church, is a member of Junior League, a committee member for Children’s Hospital Foundation, and a board member of the Aliya Hefner Memorial Foundation.
